They say summer was invented in Washington's San Juan Islands, or should have been. Summer stretches leisurely, with 16 hours of daylight, enough time to savor the islands' pleasures. This tour takes us on an island hopper's midsummer dream from Seattle to the majestic San Juan Islands and Washington State's iconic Semiahmoo Resort. Spend one night in Sequim, WA before a whale watching cruise from Port Townsend to enchanting Friday Harbor, a charming, historic, seaport where we spend one night at Friday Harbor House. A visit to the Rosario Resort with lunch and historic organ concert is sure to be a highlight. Next, ferry to Anacortes for a short drive to the Semiahmoo Resort to spend three nights on Semiahmoo Bay and Drayton Harbor, where tide pools and estuaries provide a sanctuary for Pacific Northwest wildlife. Enjoy a private boat tour to the hidden gem of the Outer Islands at Sucia Island State Park! We will go island hopping to see lighthouses and hopefully Orcas, Humpbacks, eagles, seals, sea lions, and enjoy a crab dinner on the beach! One final stop on Whidbey Island to experience its many charming villages, historic towns, and scenic lighthouses before flying home from Seattle.
