The Beekman Arms, Hotel Thayer and Mohonk Mountain House and visiting the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Home & Library, Vanderbilt Mansion, Culinary Institute of America, ValKil (Eleanor Roosevelt's Home), West Point, Kykuit (Rockefeller's Estate), Norman Rockwell Museum and Stockbridge and a cruise on the Hudson. Airfare is not included in the price of this trip. Daytripping will fly Continental Airlines round trip Oakland to Newark, NJ with a group rate of $460 including airport transportation.   A historic landmark hotel located on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River and directly on the grounds of West Point. The Thayer Hotel offers an excellent lunch in elegant surroundings.

  This tour is a combined bus and walking tour with a step-on-guide on our bus which tells the story of West Point, its role in the Revolution, its famous history along with stories about graduates who shaped our nation. The tour will bring the long grey line to the present as you learn of the cadet experience and West Point’s continuing role in training the leaders of tomorrow. This tour goes around the post with stops at the Main Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point overlooking the Hudson River and the Plain.You are off the bus for approximately 1 hour. Easy walking.
