"You don't have to be Scottish to enjoy the Games" When the annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games arrives in Pleasanton this Labor Day weekend it will mark the 145th year of the historic event by the Caledonian Club of San Francisco. Two World Wars and the 1906 San Francisco earthquake could not keep the Scottish American community from presenting their gathering and games. This year we will enjoy the afternoon athletics and Massed Bands Closing Ceremonies on the Terrace with table seating, a great view, a gourmet catered lunch, and a no-host bar.
